Realization of a warehouse for a clothing brand. For this kind of project, the spaces are linked to storage and handling, the dimensions are imposed by the machinery.

We tried to find the human scale, to create an attractive space bringing value in a purely industrial place.

To create a dynamic, a tension linking distinct elements: industrial places, storage, offices, to a place of events, while following the program of the customer.

A hall is a purely transitional space, by “putting it under tension” with the help of a diagonal axis it becomes an A-functional space, transformable for various events related to the clothing brand, (fashion shows and other representations of the brand).

This diagonal is materialized by a footbridge, it creates an event space in addition to creating a link and connecting various spaces.

The project being located in the Netherlands, for a security and a relationship with the environment, we proposed a hollowed-out invert, on the principle of a boat hull to manage the water flows while leaving the building always out of water.

For the roof it is obvious that the sheds are fitted with solar panels.

Depending on the latitude of the project, the black facade allows a reduction of energy at the boiler room, unfortunately recovering the heat to transform it into energy is still too expensive for this kind of building.
